Design
Blue Lake Open MRI was developed while focusing on patients with anxiety about having MRI scans or who have difficulty using a regular MRI scanner due to claustrophobia or physical size. Our building was designed by TurnerBatson architects incorporating interior concepts such as high ceilings, wide corridors and large doorways. These design features along with neutral colors and diffused lighting plus open spaces help most patients feel more comfortable with their visit.
Equipment
The imaging equipment chosen was carefully reviewed by our design and development team. Our team made multiple visits to various scanners in several different states to personally experience them. The images produced were then read by physicians and vetted for detail and image quality. Radiologists, spine and orthopedic surgeons, pain management physicians and imaging equipment experts came together to select the specific MRI scanners chosen for Blue Lake Open MRI.
